ENVSEC Strategic Workshop, Final Report, Geneva, July 2009
On 1 July 2009, the ENVSEC partners organized a workshop to present and discuss the findings of the Strategic review of the ENVSEC Initiative. The workshop, made possible thanks to a generous contribution from the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, brought together 29 participants representing ENVSEC partner organisations, as well as partner and potential partner countries and institutions. The workshop was useful in doing the first selection and prioritization of the wealth of recommendations produced by the review. english version |

Strategic Review of the ENVSEC Initiative, Final Report, June 2009
The report includes main findings and recommendations of the strategic review of ENVSEC, carried out at the request of the ENVSEC Management Board by an external consultant in March-May 2009. The objective of the review was to critically examine ENVSEC six years after its establishment in order to assess its continued relevance and how well its approach, methodology and organization allow it to achieve its objections. Recommendations of the strategic review endorsed by the Management Board will be executed in the order of their priority as defined by the ENVSEC partners and their stakeholders. english version |

The report presents main findings of the evaluation of three ENVSEC projects in Central Asia, Eastern Europe and Southern Caucasus, conducted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland. The objective of the evaluation was to ascertain how effective these projects have been, and whether they have contributed to reduction of environment and security risks and to the increased cooperation around environment and security issues. english version |
